To one of the many, but by far the biggest, dipshit on I-405N today:

* The freeway is not your personal playground. You may feel comfortable going 80mph in rain + (wet)snow, but most of us don’t.
* The HOV lane is outside the flow of traffic. I’m under no obligation to “move right” despite you continually flashing your lights and honking your horn. You aren’t an emergency vehicle, bitch.
* Even if I would have been feeling kind, which people like you decrease a little each day, we were bordered by double white lines which are illegal to cross.
* You not only crossed the double white lines, but attempted to clip my car while cutting me off. Thanks for the nudge needed to get a dashcam.

Lame. My Visio M55-E0 died today. For my sins, I assume.
My multimeter shows standby power, so I guess that points to the main board. Hopefully a replacement main board fixes it, assuming I can find the right version in-stock.

It was incredibly icy today. I stupidly decided to walk to the grocery store on my lunch break. The walk normally takes about 30mins round-trip; today it took me an hour. The streets/sidewalks more-or-less sheets of ice. Luckily I only fell once. 🥶

I wish it was as easy to swap ActivityPub software/hosts as it is to swap email providers.

Thankfully my Mastodon instance was minimal; I didn’t lose too much running `tootctl self-destruct`

Deleted my Twitter account this weekend.
Resurrected my Mastodon instance.
Attempting to switch to GotoSocial instead.
We’ll see how this goes.
